Twilio takes something very complex (communications) and makes it look easy, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer that can do that too! As a member of the Technical Intelligence Development team you will build solutions that enable Twilions to efficiently and effectively get stuff done! Successful candidates will have experience developing applications in full stack as a member of a collaborative team and has no fear digging in to the unknown. You should be able to challenge the status quo and lead a team that does the same!
- You are a creative engineer and developer, able to see multiple sides of a problem, and to work with your team to implement solutions that take into account success and failure states, good actors and bad, and account for the massive growth that Twilio is experiencing.
- You like to think at scale and design, develop and operate production [micro]services that meet goals of low latency, high availability, resiliency and quality in a Cloud environment.
- You appreciate the value of great DevOps, and strive for reliability, speed, and quality from development to staging to production.
- Even better, you understand designing for data integrity and secure data management.
- Interest in and/or experience with communications, machine learning, and multi-user systems a plus.
- Your are the go-to person, people look up to you. They love your knowledge and you love to
- share it!
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Twilio Technical Intelligence Development works on a plethora of issues, a great day for you would involve architecting solutions and then implementing them in a creative and engaging way. You may work with technologies related to Twilio APIs, highly availability, scalability, AWS, but the list is too long to include here. You will dive in to new technologies frequently, and expected to only develop on the bleeding edge. A great day for you would be working alongside a small and collaborative team, white-boarding ideas, building APIs used by all Twilio customers, as well as constantly improving services that power Twilio's top products and also generate significant revenue.
