To help us on our journey, we're seeking a senior product person to define and execute against this giant vision.
Product managers come from a variety of backgrounds. Our ideal applicant:
- Proven success in product management in small or large organizations.
- The ability to conceptualize a product, and take it to the marketplace.
- Worked closely with developers and communicate on that level
- Generates ideas, and is capable of documenting and evangelizing their vision in front of peers and customers.
- Is a good storyteller, crafting narratives to emphasize what's most important in a complex system.
- Bachelors or Master is Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
You should be prepared to spend your days writing specs, drawing mockups, speaking with Twilio customers and working with the development teams to bring your vision to life. You will bring to the table your experience launching products. And in the spirit of our company values, you should have the humility to accept guidance and support from your peers throughout the company.
Being part of the messaging business unit product team, you will
- Build the next generation of Messaging APIs and products, enabling businesses to communicate with their customers wherever they are.
- Some experience, whether professionally or as an enthusiastic hobbyist, writing code and developing software.
- Drive daily stand-ups with engineering.
- Support sales in key sales deals.

As a product manager in the Messaging org, you will be responsible for empowering the world's developers with modern communication in order to build better applications. An overwhelming majority of our customers prefer to use messaging for their communications, whether it's via SMS, chat, or using apps like WhatsApp or LINE. You will be crafting exceptional developer experiences, planning & prioritizing sprints with your engineering teams and driving the product vision and roadmap every day.
