OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Perform monthly general ledger closing, monthly account analysis, monthly billing, daily log reconciliation, quarterly reporting and other internal and corporate reports as needed for KTVU and KTVU Plus. Prepare internal and external revenue reports. Prepare and coordinate the annual insurance and tax package. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget. Maintain Fixed Asset system. Provide assistance to VP of Finance and Finance Director as needed. Other duties assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. Three to four years progressively responsible accounting experience also required. Previous experience in a major television broadcast market desirable. Must have a solid working knowledge of spreadsheet applications. Excel and Wide Orbit experience strongly preferred. Must have strong organizational, written and verbal skills. Candidates must also be deadline and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Must effectively interact with various station personnel.
