JOB DESCRIPTION

The Big Ten Network (BTN) is searching for a Manager of Creative Services & Fulfillment to support Ad Sales. This individual must be skilled at monitoring trends and opportunities in the marketplace and will provide support to the Account Executives and VP of Ad Sales by developing and managing integrated ad sales opportunities to be sold by the sales team. Duties include the development, management, and fulfillment of custom creative/added value campaigns and B1G corporate partnerships. Campaigns can include TV, digital, and/or B1G corporate sponsorship inventory. The incumbent will partner, collaborate, ideate and strategize with other managers, departments (primarily Marketing and Production), Account Executives and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of Ad Sales opportunities/ideas and creation of one-sheets and other sales materials - requires knowledge of marketplace and BTNSMG portfolio/capabilities
  • Attendance and participation in most departmental meetings to understand their initiatives and articulate ad sales needs for prospective and current campaigns
  • Organization and collection of logos, graphics, and added value grids requiring constant reporting and tracking to Production and Ad Sales
  • Fulfillment of B1G corporate partner campaigns
  • Assisting Ad Sales Account Executives in answering agency requests (RFP’s) and development of campaign recaps and other merchandising of added value elements/campaigns - from time to time, serve as primary client contact while working collaboratively internally to ensure flawless execution.
  • Various administrative duties for multiple Account Executives including coordination of guest travel, event planning, and overall departmental support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of sales support - experience within a national cable advertising environment with knowledge of TV production highly preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are necessary
  • Extremely organized and able to multi-task - managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • proven ability to work as a member of a team and individually are necessary
  • Great interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships is required
  • Mastery in PowerPoint highly preferred
