About the Role

The Director of Site Optimization and Digital Strategy will drive our overall A/B and multivariate testing strategy, business and portfolio requirements, and track and monitor experimentation results. The candidate will work very closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Design and Analytics to deliver optimized testing experiences.

This role will focus on building an experimentation roadmap, constantly iterating and refining optimization strategies based on learnings, launching and monitoring of tests and driving digital consumer strategy and consumer journeys. Projects will cover a wide spectrum of initiatives such as testing messaging and creative, subscription pricing, digital customer acquisition and retention, website design, and other product needs.

Optimization and Digital Strategy

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop viable solutions focused on positively impacting site conversion and business KPIs
  • Outline consumer journeys to define digital strategy
  • Create overall testing plan and roadmap
  • Drive end-to-end implementation of A/B testing across multiple devices, channels and site pages including project intake, hypothesis setting, KPI selection, Requirement gathering, execution of tests and success measurement
  • Brief stakeholders on plan to include major milestones, detailed explanation of variants in test, definition of KPIs in analysis, and overall expectations.

Performance Improvements

  • Working closely with business analytics team to present analysis, test results and resulting recommendations to peers and senior management
  • Ensure test integrity is maintained by providing A/B testing and multi-variate subject-matter expertise that is predicated on sound best practices and analytical rigor
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture that rapidly tests, measures and iterates

Level & Role Specific Qualification

  • 8+ years of experience in A/B testing and multivariate testing, preferably in streaming or subscription services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Information Systems, Marketing, or equivalent experience/training
  • Experience with leading testing platforms (Optimizely, Unbounce, Adobe, etc.)
  • Must have proven experience in hypothesis generation, identification of KPIs, and statistical analysis of test results

General Qualifications

  • Exceptionally organized with the ability to multi-task with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
