People & Culture Business Partner:
Provides coaching and consultative support to management on leadership development, talent and performance management, change and people management issues
Provides coaching and consultative support to employees on personal and professional development and goal attainment
Delivers tailored People & Culture solutions to the business needs, specifically in the areas of; workforce planning, employee relations, labour relations, learning and organizational development, performance management
Maintains knowledge of business operations and its strategic role within the organization
Participates in the recruitment process and advises leaders on recruitment best practices
Organizational Development & Learning:
Develops, delivers, and evaluates training programs, including major organizational development initiatives and application training
- Develops detailed annual training plans for approval as part of the annual budget process
Collaborates and liaises with leaders to assess training and development
- Designs, administers and maintains all learning activities for employees using an LMS
Develops, recommends and implements the design and delivery of annual leadership development programs
Promotes and executes organizational performance alignment with corporate strategy and objectives (performance planning, mid-year review and year-end review)
- Facilitates the design and implementation of employee engagement processes and events
Assists in the design and implementation of organizational design/change management initiatives
You have a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or relevant field, or equivalent experience
- A CHRP/CHRL designation would be considered an asset
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HR generalist role
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in learning and/or organizational development
- Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Experience working with an LMS is an asset
You are a seasoned practitioner, able to work with minimal supervision and can manage several demanding tasks simultaneously
You are a team player, change agent, project manager and a dynamic relationship builder
You have strong communication skills and are digitally savvy
