We are seeking an experienced inside sales associates to become part of our inside Business to Business (B2B) sales team. We are looking for tenacious, self-starters to help us expand our presence.
We encourage cold calls and emails to businesses. When we have any inbound leads we will route them to you.
We would like to talk to you if you have a proven track record of selling services such as advertising over the phone. We are looking for APEX Predators... self-starters that are not afraid of the phone and capable and producing some of their own leads through outbound dialing, networking, and existing relationships.
You will be reaching out to businesses offering advertising space in our magazine (TVE Magazine) to showcase their business to the millions of Hispanics living in the SF Bay Area.
We have happy advertisers from six Bay Area counties who have signed up and renewed for many years because the hispanic community is their target audience for their services.
The best person for this role is a people person, excited about sharing the hispanic market with business owners. It's fun, and it's a numbers game - you'll need to make about 40 calls per day to make two appointments per day.
This sounds easy, but it's not... Most people you'll be calling will not be in, or there's a person trained to fend off people calling about advertising, even though the owners of businesses you'll be calling know their biggest customers and prospects are hispanics in the bay area. You'll hear, "Not interested" 10 times before you hear, "Okay, I'll meet/speak with the Sales Executive." It's easy if you're diligent...
We're looking for a results-driven sales rep/telemarketer to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will be employed as a full-time employee and will earn commission on top of your hourly wage.
Bilingual in Spanish & English is preferred but not required
