This role will help enable the overall success of the eCommerce team within the Digital Factory by supporting digital marketing initiatives. This role offers great learning and hands on experience opportunity for an individual who is keen and passionate about eCommerce Digital Marketing. The role will be augmented with on-the-job support, such as mentoring and coaching. The role contributes to the development of the next generation of value based and personalized Scotiabank digital customer experiences for our customers, ultimately driving digital adoption and primary customer growth across the bank’s portfolio.

Is this role right for you?

  • Support and help manage site content on a day to day basis through the use of our Content Management system
  • Contribute to continuous innovation and improvement of our customer experience model with a goal of optimizing efficiency and driving achievement of our sales goals
  • Monitor and conduct benchmark research on an on-going basis to understand competitive landscape and present findings to relevant stakeholders

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Proficient PC skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Familiarity with HTML & CSS is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capable of being a resourceful problem solver
  • Proactive thinker who anticipates needs and plans accordingly
  • Able to effectively communicate ideas, both within the team and to multiple stakeholders across business tiers and countries
  • Organized and deadline-oriented
  • Curiosity that drives continued learning and the sharing of insights related to Digital Marketing
  • Good understanding of Digital Marketing and the use of customer journey mapping methodology is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills to manage priorities and multi-task accordingly
  • Strong written and oral skills in English. Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is an asset
