Planaxis - Talan Canada is looking for Sr. Java or C++ Developers for a 6 month contract (renewable) in Toronto
Tasks :
Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of applications or enhancements to existing applications. Build test-driven, high performing code that runs on Linux. Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Contribute and support to operational problems/resolutions to new and existing applications. Provide leadership and support onboading resource when required.
Technical expertise :
- Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
- Strong communication skills are required
- Backend Java or C++ development with strong technical knowledge.
- 5 years+ experience in application development
- Linux backend code
- AGILE environment
Plus :
- Experience in financial institution, a plus
