Content Strategy Coordinator At Plan International Canada

Location: Toronto

Status: Full-time, Permanent

About You

The Position

As a member of the Content Strategy Team, the Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Supporting the Content Strategy Team by maintaining the master editorial content calendar, managing access to monthly team editorial calendars and Content Strategy training and tools, and updating presentations and tools for content creators across the organization
  • Coordinating graphic design and brand review requests, including assessing requests for support, creating and managing work-back schedules, and stewarding stakeholders through graphic design process
  • Writing, editing and proofreading corporate communications materials, such as presentations, brochures, and articles
  • Managing production and inventory of branded materials, such as stationary, banners, posters, notebooks, and other branded swag materials
  • Maintaining list of approved freelancer designers, photographers, videographers and translators, serving as liaison for stakeholders
  • Supporting the Digital Librarian in managing the Digital Asset Management system (Media Bank) through effective storage and tagging of digital assets
  • Budget administration
  • Assisting with other tasks as required

As our ideal candidate you will have:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven relevant experience including providing administrative support at an executive level, preferably in a large organization
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting teams in the areas of marketing, fundraising and/or communications
  • Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • A strong work ethic coupled with tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
