Director of Operations At PIZZA NOVA

Purpose:

Reporting to the President, and serving as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team. The Director of Operations will lead and develop a high performing team who are focused on delivering results and meeting key objectives. Areas of focus will include ensuring customer service, quality standards, growth and profitability are achieved. This position requires close collaboration and influence of senior leadership teams within Pizza Nova to ensure strategic alignment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for ensuring overall operations of Pizza Nova locations delivery is of a high standard with respect to quality and customer service experience.
• Mentor, motivate, inspire, develop, and lead a team of District Managers.
• Work with the team to create more rigour around processes and store management, ensuring that the team continues to develop their skills and sophistication level.
• Sponsor, lead and/or participate in a variety of other initiatives, projects and tasks in the business.
• Oversees fiscal planning by monitoring budgets and forecasting business results.
• Work closely with the Director of Franchise Development to assist in attracting quality franchisees to the business.

Key Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of experience leading people in food service operations environment.
• Bachelor's degree, College Diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
• Experience in/with QSR or Franchise business preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience coaching and developing a team.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relationship builder with an ability to lead cross functional teams through influence and persuasion.
• Strategic and detail oriented.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
• Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task in an environment with multiple and at times competing priorities.
• Must be a seasoned leader who is able to bring rigor, structure and standards to the team
• Proficient in MS office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
