UX Designer At Pixoul

We're seeking a remote UI/UX Designer to join our team on a full-time, hourly, contract basis.

Role
Pixoul is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our growing design team across all stages of project development: from business strategy and idea generation, to research, wireframing, high-fidelity design, usability testing, and more. As a member of our design team you'll get to work on the entire range of our client's digital experiences, with the opportunity to lead the start-to-finish design thinking process. As a remote member of the team, you have flexibility to determine where and when you work!

Requirements & Responsibilities

• 3+ years of experience in a UX/UI Designer, Interaction Designer, UX Lead, or similar role.
• A strong understanding of the Design Thinking process.
• Experience interacting with clients is a must.
• Demonstrated skills creating process flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX deliverables.
• Experience with design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and handoff tools (InVision, Zeplin, etc.).
• Able to drive a product across the design thinking life cycle: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test.
• Able to produce clear, user-centric design across mobile, desktop, web, and wearable interfaces.
• Willing to contribute to all aspects of design including requirement defining, user research, workflow diagraming, detailed design, development of use cases and scenarios, and engineering support.
• Experience partnering closely with developers, QA, and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics.
• Experience with Agile and/or Scrum development methods.
• Must have a strong online portfolio showcasing work in UX.
• Should ideally be interested in mentoring junior UX designers in the future.
• Should ideally have other agency experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
