Junior PHP Developer (Joomla)

Project Summary:

We are looking for a contractor to work on an existing website to modify existing features and add new functionalities. The job is to customize an existing site build with Joomla and integrated with Moodle (Joomdle extension). We prefer local developers who can come in to our Vancouver office for meetings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understand the existing website functionality and project requirements
• Implement Joomla and Moodle customization and resolve any technical issues
• Minor front-end work required (CSS)

Skills/Requirements:

• Experience in LAMP stack. Linux, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, Apache, Joomla and Moodle LMS
• Git workflow

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 /hour

Experience:

• PHP: 1 year (Required)
• Joomla: 1 year (Preferred)

Location:

• Vancouver, BC (Preferred)
