The incumbents for both the AMM, Cold Beverages and AMM Starbucks Out of Home will assist in the development and lead the execution of 18 month brand plans and supporting the growth model for Nestlé Professional Canada. Both AMM’s will be Responsible for managing the Marketing budget (PFME), monitoring brand performance, and analyzing brand health metrics and all aspects of the Complimentary and New Product programs.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Provides fact based analytical support to identify business issues/opportunities. Monitors and analyzes brand and competitor performance vs. established KPIs (market share, brand health, profitability)
  • Responsible for managing PFME budgets in Brand Planner and tracks and monitors spending. Leads Pre-Post PFME Evaluations to assess the impact on the business and against KPIs. Shares learnings across team.
  • Supports development of consumer communication plans aligned with BBNW best practices. Executes approved plans (packaging, product, consumer support) per brand essence and vision within approved budgets and timelines
  • Uses consumer and marketplace data and trends to support definition of the target consumer and develop a deeper understanding of them.
  • Leverages brand, consumer and marketplace data to recommend marketing objectives, strategies and activities for the 18 Month Brand Plan (aligned with 3 Year Brand Roadmap and learning from previous years).
  • Prepares, presents and sells-in aspects of the brand plan to management, cross functional and external partners.
  • Supports the development of the brand’s short and long term innovation strategy. Leads execution of specific innovation & renovation projects aligned to the approved Innovation & Renovation strategy.
  • Assists in general administration including setting meetings, internal event management and preparation of marketing presentations
  • Leads all pricing management for the business unit, working with Sales Finance teams to ensure pricing is managed effectively. Makes recommendations for bi-annual pricing review and keeps up to date on industry trends and competitor data.
  • Supports all forecasting activities to ensure correct stock levels of all sku's consistently for the business unit

Qualifications:
  • University degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience required. CPG and Food Service experience is strongly preferred.
  • Field sales experience is considered a strong asset
  • Demonstrated strong proficiencies in marketing analysis (AC Nielsen, NPD, BW/CBR, PFME).
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to leverage Nestlé processes, resources and environment.
  • Self-motivated, results focused with strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of the 4P’s and their application. Ability to read and understand a P&L statement.
  • Must be able to effectively manage change in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • An entrepreneurial/test & learn spirit with a passion for digital & social media marketing is an asset
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and other MS applications.
