Digital Marketing Analyst

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to work within our Marketing Analytics & Insight Team.

You will be responsible for defining and implementing measurement strategies that align with Localcoin marketing and business objectives; producing meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivering monthly, cross channel performance reports with actionable insight. The role will also involve conducting campaign conversion optimization, with the aim of improving efficiency and increasing ROI.

You will not necessarily come from a pure web analytics background but an excellent, in-depth level of knowledge in digital marketing, along with experience in strategic and analytical management of digital campaigns is essential.


Campaign strategy

  • Identifying campaign objectives and advising on suitable measurement strategies
  • Benchmarking performance across all online channels and advising on KPIs
  • Using methodical performance analysis to influence/support campaign strategies

Analytical and technical

  • Monitoring online and offline channels while developing and implementing innovative strategies for improvement and growth
  • Using available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign performance issues and propose methodical optimization tests, both on-site and campaign based
  • Providing insights on campaign tagging and additional on-site tracking
  • Analyzing online user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel
  • analysis and multi-channel attribution
  • Influencing campaign conversion optimization strategies with solid analytical data
  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of different
  • marketing campaigns
  • Spotting potential to implement innovative new methodologies and improve analytical procedure


  • Developing custom marketing dashboard concepts for reporting via Google Data Studio
  • Reporting on key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and providing actionable
  • insights based on available analytics data
  • Delivering weekly reporting and analysis documentation to the founding team
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Collaborating with the design and development teams for on and off-site conversion optimization projects
  • Collaborating with finance team to correlate marketing KPI's with revenue data

Skills and Experiences

Must have

  • Minimum 2 year data analyst experience
  • University graduate or equivalent in a quantitative field
  • Experience in working within a marketing/business intelligence environment
  • High level experience working with data management tools (e.g. Data Studios, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Excel etc.),
  • Experience with UTM tracking
  • High level of experience working with Google Adwords and other paid search platforms
  • High level of experience in measuring and analysing online marketing campaigns including: organic, paid search, email, affiliate, display and social
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations to the founding team
  • Strong writing, communication and project management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in working with website optimisation tools for A/B and multivariate testing, (e.g. Google Website Optimizer, Optimizely, Instapage etc.)
  • Knowledge of Blockchain/ Cryptocurrency industry
  • VBA
