Business Development Representative

We are looking for someone to contribute to Localcoin as a Business Development Representative across North America. You'll be finding and initiating contact with potential new partners to help with Localcoin's international expansion.

More than just a salesperson, will be representing the organization. You will be responsible to show our clients how we can benefit their small business, demonstrate how Localcoin products work and how it will elevate their sales while maintaining an ongoing successful partnership.


Responsibilities

  • Direct the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, and positioning of Localcoin products and services
  • Lead new business generation to sales territories
  • Ensure delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Secure supplier contracts while negotiating lowest rate and longest term
  • Phone calls inquiries to interested suppliers for product sourcing
  • Recognize and reach out to suppliers in businesses and within assigned territory
  • Developing & maintaining relationships with our suppliers– new and old
  • Contacting retail franchises across North America for potential partnerships
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluate criteria for obtaining the best possible results

Skills and Experiences

Must-haves:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation ability
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • 2-4 years' sales experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to travel frequently across North America

Nice to have:

  • Fluent in English, Spanish and/or French
