The system programmer will interact primarily with software application specialists to identify operational requirements and provide the most appropriate technical solutions. He will also be actively involved in the development and improvement of the tools under his responsibility.
Develop and maintain tools for installation management and maintenance tools
Develop solutions adapted to the architecture of the systems according to technical specifications
Interface with third party software to maintain and provide a complete environment for the installation of our software
Participate actively in supporting the Software Application Specialist team to identify issues and where appropriate and redirect them to internal resource staff
Develop tools according to high quality standards and write the appropriate documentation
Work with teams in each department to participate in technical problem solving
Be alert to any potential changes in the evolution of upcoming Windows operating systems
Ensure compliance of security standards and practices, including PCI
Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience
Have a minimum of 10 years experience in programming
Have experience in programming system tools
Have an excellent knowledge of Windows registry, user and group security management
Have an expertise with all currently used versions of Windows
Have a good knowledge of databases and SQL
Have a good knowledge of scripting languages such as VBS, HTML, XML and Power Shell
Have a good knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP / IP, FTP and SMTP Certification MCP or MCSA an asset
Have a good ability to write technical documents
Strong communication skills in English & French (Spoken & Written)
Functional knowledge of Spanish (spoken & written) is considered an asset
