Senior Manager, Digital Media Planning At Loblaw Digital

Your job description starts here, but it ends where you’re willing to take it: The Senior Manager, Digital Media Planning is the digital media subject matter expert for Loblaw Digital. They will lead a team of Demand Generation specialists tasked with planning, executing and managing paid media campaigns for Loblaw Digital and other enterprise business units.


Accountability:


  • Collaborate with business and marketing stakeholders to build innovative, audience focused integrated digital media campaigns that will accelerate the growth of Loblaw Digital businesses
  • Develop the strategic roadmap for digital media team including team structure, process and technology partnerships across display, video, social, mobile and emerging channels
  • Build, manage and mentor a team of Demand Generation specialists tasked with delivering exceptional digital media performance across multiple lines of business
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to deliver concise, actionable recommendations for improving digital media campaign performance
  • Facilitate weekly and monthly Demand Generation planning with key business units, measure results and share actionable insight with management teams
  • Manage and maximize value from platform and technology partner relationships
  • Be the key stakeholder for Google Marketing Platform and Facebook Business Manager, making decisions on account structure, tactics and data strategy
  • Develop framework for reporting, testing, analysis and forecasting of digital media performance with a focus on incremental value generated through media campaigns
  • Partner with Marketing Intelligence and Data Science teams to develop and integrate predictive forecasting and attribution models into programmatic media campaigns
  • Streamline and automate process, including reporting automation, to maximize time spent on high value optimization
  • Present strategy, optimizations and results to key business stakeholders including senior-level executives, focusing on measuring digital media investment impact on key business metrics
  • Continuously challenge the status quo, think outside the box, and provide stimulus for creative and innovative solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree (Business, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or similar)
  • 6-8 years of experience in a programmatic media including 3-4 years managing a team of programmatic media buyers
  • Expert level knowledge of Demand Side platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Business Manager
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to effectively turn reporting and analysis into actionable insights and execution plans
  • Ability to develop and present a POV and implications based on data, and present findings across the organization
  • Collaborative and positive attitude with passion for questioning assumptions and answering questions with data in order to unlock value for the enterprise
  • Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently
  • High proficiency in Excel and reporting automation / Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Domo or equivalent)
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
  • Strong executive level communications skills. Ability to present findings to senior management and display a comfort level responding to any and all questions
