Senior Marketing Manager, Control Brands At Loblaw Companies Limited

This role is for you, because you are thrilled to build brand love in support of our organization’s mission: To help Canadians Live Life Well. You are inquisitive, open to change, and bringing new ideas to the table to challenge and innovate how we build brands and experiences in our always changing marketing environment.


What you’ll do:

You will use your strong understanding of digital marketing to contribute to the development, innovation and engagement of our brands and digital marketing platforms. You will also contribute to building our leading brands through holistic multi-channel plans that include digital, traditional and retail channels. You will demonstrate the passion and agility to champion and build our world class brands and programs.

  • Contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan
  • Development of brand/program specific communication plans, including brand dashboards and reports
  • On-going monitoring and reporting of consumer, competitor and brand activity with analysis and recommendations
  • Collaboration within marketing team, cross functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless, executional excellence of plans and programs
  • Development and delivery of customer focused creative briefs that inspire internal and external agencies
  • Use of digital marketing acumen to influence effectively across the organization to shape the development of integrated campaigns and brand building initiatives
  • Driven by working in a fast paced, ever changing environment that continually advances the business and brands through design thinking and agile processes.
  • Develop well informed customer focused “points of view”
  • Contribution to achievement of brand KPI’s

What you’ll need:

  • 5–7 years of relevant work experience in advertising, marketing or customer based management role
  • University or college degree in business, marketing or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • Experience, understanding and continual curiosity in the space of digital marketing platforms, innovation and consumer engagement
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple and complex projects
  • Good judgment and experience in the development of creative/communications
  • Understanding and experience in budget management

Travel will be required to offices Downtown Toronto
