Pourquoi ce role est-il important?

The Media Strategist helps to support the planning of audience-focused, data-driven digital media campaigns across display, video and social. A driven, detail-oriented person, you work with the Media Strategy Managers to help to ensure our clients and partners receive an exceptional level of service. Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Strategy Managers, Audience Segmentation and Analytics teams to build innovative, audience-focused integrated digital media campaigns that will accelerate the growth of our clients
  • Help facilitate and document campaign deliverables, developing workback schedules, and gathering key inputs (creative assets, brand safety parameters, trafficking guidelines, etc).
  • Help streamline and automate processes, from proposals to execution, to help maximize time spent on high-value strategy development and campaign optimization
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to inform audience construction recommendations and campaign learning agendas
  • Facilitate bi-weekly and post-campaign check-ins with clients and agencies, sharing actionable insights
  • Present strategy, optimizations and results to key business stakeholders, focusing on measuring digital media investment impact on key business metrics
  • Challenge the status quo, think outside the box, and provide stimulus for creative and innovative solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or certification in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or similar
  • 2-3 years of experience in a programmatic media planning, or 2-3 years in digital media planning
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong communicator, who helps make Loblaw Media™ campaigns easy to understand and execute for our partners
  • Ability to simplify all communications, often sharing technical information with non-technical people
  • Understanding/familiarity of Demand Side platforms including Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Business Manager… in-platform experience is even better!
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to effectively turn reporting and analysis into actionable insights and execution plans
  • Ability to develop and present a POV and implications based on data, and present findings across the organization
  • Collaborative and positive attitude with passion for questioning assumptions and answering questions with data, unlocking value our business partners
  • Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
