Winston Churchill High School
Lethbridge School District is seeking a highly motivated educational leader who is innovative and demonstrates collaborative decision making, to serve as the Vice Principal of Winston Churchill High School. Lethbridge School District, embraces diversity and functions in a dynamic, innovative and fast paced environment. The candidate will need to work closely with District and school based personnel, parents and students to ensure a contemporary and engaging learning environment is present for all students.
Winston Churchill High School has a population of approximately 825 students. Churchill is dedicated to providing a quality education for all students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 with a focus on academic achievement, co-curricular and fine arts participation, and student leadership. Churchill offers broad and diverse educational opportunities, including the International Baccalaureate program, to meet the needs of all students.
Strong candidates will have demonstrated success in the following areas:
Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate and possess or be near completion of a Masters Degree in Education.
Successful teaching and leadership experience will be considered assets.
