Kivvit is a nationally-recognized Public Affairs, PR, and communications consulting firm with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Chicago, Washington DC, and Miami. At about 90 full-time staff, our firm is growing and so are our needs for more focus on financial and administrative oversight.
What is the job?
We are looking for someone to join our Chicago office to manage client billing, project budgets, client contracts, and aid in month-end financial closing for the Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Miami office locations. You will join a multi-office team of finance & admin staff who will help you with onboarding and initial training.
Experience working at an advertising agency or similar professional services firm is highly preferred. You must have a formal Accounting background and be comfortable with building project & advertising campaign budgets and working in Excel.
Organization, punctuality, and following-through on assignments is critical to this role. The agency and public relations field is fast-paced. Finance team members must be able to adapt, be responsive to changing project budgets, and help account teams stay organized with the administrative aspects of our client work.
Great communications skills are a must. The finance team must be able to compile complicated project financials and summarize any issues, questions, or missing information to the project manager.
