Senior Director, Global Marketing X19
The Senior Director, Global Marketing X19 will play a key role on the global marketing cell therapy team. This role will have primary responsibility for ensuring world market optimization to support X19 to reach its fullest potential. This role will provide brand leadership and commercial governance over the life cycle of X19 for existing and future indications. This role will work in close collaboration with the global marketing franchise and brand leads as well as with the global cross functional and project teams to ensure world market preparation for the successful launch of X19.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience leading teams of marketing professionals at specialty-focused pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies, with significant experience in Hematology. Prior experience in cell therapy is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working at both a global and affiliate/ local marketing level, achieving success with both long term strategic development and short term tactical implementation.
Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in marketing or related fields with a post-graduate degree preferred. Additional qualifications include:

Strategic Orientation. The successful candidate will be able to articulate evolving priorities for the business, identify market opportunities and adapt short-term plans. This includes the ability to strategically assess customer needs and build/execute specific, segmented strategies to win business across a diverse set of customers. The successful candidate will have passion for, and success in, developing commercial strategies that have measurable business impact.
Collaboration and Influence. The qualified candidate must be able to influence without ownership, which they will do by demonstrating competence and confidence, being personally accessible and likable, being a good listener, use fact-based persuasion, passion, and persistence as appropriate to the audience and issue at stake. Gaining the support and involvement of key internal constituencies will be critical to success, as will influencing those important constituencies external to the company. The successful candidate must therefore have excellent skills at influencing outcomes, and shaping and catalyzing dialogue across and outside the organization. Credibility and integrity are critical attributes to effectively command the respect and trust of key individuals.
