Kinsa was founded with a mission to track, and ultimately curb, the spread of illness. We are doing this by transforming the first device everyone grabs when sickness strikes - the thermometer - into a sensor to detect when and where illness is spreading, and communicate with those who fall ill.
We anonymize and aggregate the information we gather about where and when illness is spreading to create the first and only real-time map of human health. We call this Kinsa Insights. Our data is the earliest and most accurate system to track the spread of infectious illness, including influenza, in the United States. Brands and pharmacies use our data to optimize digital media spend and prevent inventory out-of-stocks. Health plans, health systems, and employers use our data for resource planning, claims forecasting, and population health interventions. Kinsa delivers data through APIs and a web dashboard, with a data science team constantly working to develop new data products.
Through our mobile app, we provide users with illness triage and access to the care they need to get better faster, or even avoid it in the first place. We call this Kinsa Connect. Large employers (such as Bank of America) pay us to help their employees do this. Health Plans and Providers pay us to help their insured members do this. And large parent-focused brands (such as Lysol) work with us to bring Kinsa to schools to reduce student sick days - we call this school health program FLUency.
This role will work directly Kinsa’s founder and CEO to support his sales work and develop the skills needed to grow into a highly successful enterprise sales / BD leader. It will report to Kinsa’s GM of Enterprise, and work in conjunction with a veteran 5-person sales team to grow Kinsa’s business with F500 accounts in the CPG, Pharma, Retail, Health Plans & Provider verticals. The role will also work on outreach and collateral creation to build new leads, accelerate pipeline development and execute other strategic BD initiatives. We are looking for a passionate, high-achieving professional with high EQ, the ability to think in a structured and analytical way, excellent client management and communication skills, and an interest in working closely with a founder/CEO to learn how to effectively sell. It is expected that in this role you will develop skills to take on ownership of deals from prospecting to close and play a key role in building up our B2B business.
