Trade Marketing Manager At KIND

What you’ll do

  • Act as a liaison between the Brand and Sales teams to ensure strategic alignment, and encourage collaboration

  • Effectively using internal sales, market and consumer research data (where available), to develop actionable insights to drive better retail strategies as they relate to the 4 P’s with a focus on pricing and promotion

  • Being resourceful in uncovering insights outside of syndicated data as it relates to the category and proactively sharing information and recommendations for action with both brand and sales

  • Own the creation and implementation of KIND shopper and retail marketing materials and display vehicles
    • Understanding shopper strategy

    • Briefing agency

    • Managing critical path to production and shipping

    • Evaluating ROI on shopper initiatives

  • Lead execution of trade elements for new product launches: owning the critical path to launch, pricing, assortment strategies, organizing product samples, listing information, sell sheets, sales decks, POS, GS1

  • Creating "Gold Standard" sales decks for new business development, channel specific merchandising strategies, new products, merchandising optimization

  • Track and recommend improvements for the KIND portfolio across all sales fundamentals

  • Build relationships with HQ/International team members to ensure awareness initiatives and best practices that impact or can be applied to the Canadian business


Required Experience:

Your qualifications

  • Ideally 4+ years with a minimum of 1-2 years CPG or Retail trade/shopper marketing, category management/analytics or account sales experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required. A business focused degree is a plus

  • Experience using Nielsen data and creating sales stories using that data

  • Strong excel/pivot table and PowerPoint skills

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build strong working relationships at all levels

  • Strong organization skills with a commitment to excellence, high quality standards and attention to detail

  • Confident, driven, self-starter with ability to work autonomously

  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain an entrepreneurial spirit while applying critical and strategic rigor

  • Travel expected - 5-10%
