What you’ll do
As a Sales Co-op, you will be responsible for working alongside the Category Management team on data analysis and insights development in partnership with Field Sales. You will have the chance to build a network of professional and personal contacts, develop critical business skills and build the confidence, motivation and professional work habits you need to excel. This is the opportunity to test drive your career in Sales with a focus on strategy and analytics, and this is how you’ll do it…


Support in:

  • Developing robust fact-based selling stories for retail account meetings utilizing IRI and retailer specific POS data, panel data, shopper-card data, and other research.
  • Creating retailer specific recommendations regarding assortment and strategy in alignment to specific sales objectives.
  • Crafting customer specific POG recommendations utilizing POG writing software while also maintaining internal product & image library.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales field team in-store activation initiatives.
  • Updating Gold Standard sales slides for go-to-market use.

Cross-functional department collaboration:

  • Work with & exposure to cross functional departments (Field Sales, Field Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Digital etc.) to fulfill requests.

What you’ll bring to KIND

  • Experience with analytics, market research and data insights.
  • Learnings from completed courses pertaining to this area of focus.
  • Experience from previous internship or work experience.

You have…

  • Enrolled in an accredited sales program at a college/university and are in good standing.
  • Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs, and strong analytical skills.
  • An eye for detail and preparation of high-quality submissions.
  • A commitment to quality.
  • An interest in pursuing a career in sales.
  • Availability to commit to our team for 6 months.
  • Passion for KIND’s core values and mission.
