Job Description

With over 30 years in the produce industry, and 28 locations in the Lower Mainland, we are constantly growing and expanding!

Our Head Office in Richmond, BC is currently hiring a Business Development Manager.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Create road map to achieve business growth and/or desired financial results
  • Build alliances, joint ventures, and solicit business partnerships to scale business
  • Explore mergers and acquisition opportunities; perform due diligence including financial analysis and forecasts of startup cost, revenue, profit, cash flow, ROI and other relevant projections
  • Seek business opportunities notably geographic expansion, related product areas, and potential business deals
  • Analyze marketing strategies and implement brand-building plan
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to corporate development, and provide written advice on operation procedures
  • Manage all current facilities and their leases and negotiate favorable rent and terms on renewal
  • Plan, implement and manage the Licensing/Leasing Program. Nurture the Licensee/Lessee relationships
  • Manage and direct all public relations with all the company’s stakeholders
  • Complete duties in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

Major Job Qualifications:

  • Related university degree and or ten years of related industry experience in corporate or business retail chain development
  • Accounting or finance background necessary
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with ability to seek, create, negotiate and close a deal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking; can attend to details, pursue quality in accomplishing tasks and be resilient under pressure
  • Intermediate to expert computer skills with ability to examine data to grasp issues, draw conclusions and solve problems
  • Commercial/business acumen with the ability to decode and understand risk
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities
  • Fluent English, second language will be a plus
