SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Senior Associate Brand Manager is accountable for the in-year delivery of brand objectives for assigned brands. The SABM owns the delivery of consumer-preferred brand experiences that meet K-C financial objectives and drive future growth. The SABM develops, implements and evaluates performance marketing plans, including data acquisition, CRM, SEM/SEO, display, video, and omni-channel commerce to drive brand awareness, consideration, trial, purchase and loyalty.

ORGANIZATION:

This position reports into the Senior Brand Manager of the sector they work on. Key stakeholders include brand, sector, and business unit management, agency and media partners, global marketing capabilities, and local customer development teams.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate performance marketing plans, including data acquisition, CRM, SEM/SEO, display, video, and omni-channel commerce to drive brand awareness, consideration, trial, purchase and loyalty.
  • Execute digital media partnerships and Joint Business Plans to drive the business.
  • Work with Brand Teams and agencies to establish KPIs for data acquisition, Paid (OLA, OLV, SEM) and owned (SEO, Web, CRM, Social) digital media and provide reporting, analysis and insights.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of plans to “Continue” relationships with consumers including Ratings & Reviews for eCommerce.
  • Effectively manage A&CP, Shopper Marketing and Trade budgets for assigned brands/activities.
  • Ensure that the company continues to remain strategically opportunistic by continually evaluating the marketing and outreach strategies, including both tools presently being used and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in new brand marketing initiatives and presentations, including relevant Agency Day meetings.
  • Participate within channels that the organization will be using in order to have firsthand knowledge of all opportunities within each platform.
  • Interface with counterparts in the development of digital, social and eCommerce media best practices.
  • Keep up-to-date on digital, social and eCommerce media trends and best practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education; Experience & Critical Skills/Competencies):

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant discipline (marketing, IT, communications)
  • 3+ years prior performance marketing experience
  • History of demonstrated success in the development, execution and evaluation of digital, social and eCommerce communication plans that drive the business with strong ROI
  • History of demonstrated success at leveraging digital media partnerships (i.e. Facebook, Google, AMG, Twitter, Snapchat etc) that step change business growth
  • Strong skills and experience with acquisition, digital, social, CRM and eCommerce marketing technologies, metrics and analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to drive insights and action from data analysis
  • Strong analytical, decision making, influence, communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track
  • Effectively manages A&CP, Shopper Marketing and Trade budgets for assigned brands
  • Passionate about driving brand growth by better meeting consumer needs
  • Demonstrated positive energy to effectively represent brand internally and externally
  • Motivated by challenges and a robust sense of curiosity
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects within required timeframes.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization driving collaboration across functions, geographies and businesses
  • Able to influence, inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting organizational change and influencing at the managerial and/or executive level
  • History of demonstrated success in the development/execution of brand marketing plans
  • Leading/developing self and coaching other employees
