SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Sr. Associate Brand Manager is accountable for the in-year delivery of brand objectives. Owns the marketing mix (strategy, product, packaging, promotion, advertising, research) for assigned brands to ensure that K-C's brands optimally meet identified consumer needs and K-C financial objectives that will drive future growth.
Proposes, develops and implements marketing plans, including product promotion and omni-channel shopper marketing to drive brand awareness and product demand and generate market and channel traffic.

ORGANIZATION:
This position reports into the Senior Brand Manager of the sector they work on with key customers including; brand, sector, and business unit teams, R&D, Sales, agency partners, shopper marketing, and product supply teams.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports overall branding direction for K-C, and develops guidelines for use internally to ensure that branding is consistent across K-C
Leads development & execution of Brand Operating Plans, Commercial Programs, and Shopper Marketing (omni-channel, eCommerce etc) at customers for assigned brands
Lead engagement with customer teams to understand annual Joint Business Partnership priorities, strategies, & customer marketing programs
Lead Post program analysis, adjusting Shopper Marketing strategies and solutions, optimize ROI on dollars spent as necessary to ensure business objectives are delivered and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Works in collaboration with sales strategy and account managers to develop sales programs and promotional campaigns
Effectively manages A&CP, Shopper Marketing and Trade budgets for assigned brands
Supports appropriate market research to understand customer needs and trends in the market
Supports and executes on line extensions and new products to better serve segment needs and optimize sales potential
Analyzes & creates sales reports to understand product segment potential and profitability and to track progress against marketing plan initiatives and return on investment analysis for marketing programs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors' degree in marketing or related field
Minimum 3+ years of related experience in CPG
Data analysis & ability to drive insights and solutions from data analysis
Strong analytical, decision making, influence, communication & presentation skill
Passionate about driving brand growth by better meeting consumer needs
Demonstrated positive energy to effectively represent brand internally and externally
Motivated by challenges and possessing a robust sense of curiosity
Ability to work independently (self-motivated) and complete projects within required timeframes.
Ability to travel 10-15% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate degree in Marketing/Business Administration or MBA
Profit and loss management experience with global consumer packaged goods companies
Strong digital, social, and eCommerce marketing execution experience
Project leadership (medium to large-scaled projects)
Experience with new consumer product development and launch
Working with cross-functional groups (e.g., sales, finance, operations)
Leading and/or supporting complex business negotiations
Supporting organizational change and influencing at the managerial and/or executive level
Leading/developing self and coaching other employees
