Social Media Coordinator PART TIME CONTRACT
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for all day-to-day communication that happens on all Kiin social media profiles including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The Social Media Manager creates monthly content calendars by collecting, curating and creating relevant content for fans and followers of the brand. In this role, an in-depth understanding of social media platforms, advertising and analytics will be applied to ensure programs are effective in driving objectives. As the voice of the brand, this role will also lead the day-to-day activity and execution of content across all social media and email platforms and is responsible for post-campaign reporting to fellow teammates and senior leadership and daily engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities
In collaboration with key stakeholders, initiate, plan, develop and implement social media content and programs from concept through to analysis to drive guest and media acquisition, engagement and retention.
Create a sense of community and engagement in social media channels, responding to guest and media comments as required.
Works within the branding to develop and maintain consistent and impactful messaging calendar across all social platforms.
Prepare a monthly content calendar to be approved by the Director of Strategy and Marketing and the General Manager of Kiin. This will include a messaging strategy for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Monitor audience engagement across Social Media profiles and present bi-weekly reports on goal progress to the Director of Strategy and Marketing and Kiin General Manager with key performance indicators and metrics.
Interpret and use analytics and social sentiment to monitor and continuously improve content strategy and execution.
Be available to work with the Director of Strategy and Marketing and Kiin General Manager to develop local store marketing initiatives as they pertain to new restaurant openings, restaurant challenges and other guest initiatives.
Attend restaurant events like chef dinners, key sporting/pop culture events and other local events/activations. Serve as the lead communicator for those events.
Work closely with Director of Marketing to develop and continuously improve social strategies that align with the brand objectives.
Stay well informed of competitor activities in the social space.
Experience in Community Management.
Social campaign experience and knowledge of social platforms.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills are a must.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with both creative and business oriented colleagues and partners.
Self-motivated, well-organized and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills.
Experience with social media content management platforms an asset.
Experience working with social influencers an asset.
Experience with social sentiment platforms an asset.
Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop/graphic design software, etc. considered an asset.
Average of 15 hours a month
