THE WORLD OF KIDTROPOLIS is an interactive indoor City that provides our guests with an exceptional play experience. THE WORLD OF KIDTROPOLIS provides children, families, school groups, community groups and caregivers a safe, unique and very realistic educational environment which allows kids to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing!
Your role is a multi-faceted position of Event Coordination and Communications. You will utilize your superior customer service skills and training in order to provide an exceptional play experience for all of our guests. You will assist with event coordination with all contractors, stakeholders and guests. You will be instrumental in the maintenance and monitoring of social media accounts. Your position is vital for any guest planning their special event at The World of Kidtropolis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs

You have a team based approach to getting things done
Valid Food Safe Certificate would be an asset
Must be available to work shifts (AM, PM, evenings and weekends)
Develop a network of event subcontractors that make planning special events, birthday parties and private parties a simple process
Manage all aspects of event planning, including collaboration with subcontractors, venue setup, menu development, party favors, party decorations, and party gift takeaways.
Manage event set-up, tear down and follow ups
Assist with cost budgeting to avoid cost overruns
Track event key performance areas and identify items to work on for future events
Assist in the day-to-day operations of Kidtropolis
Monitor social media accounts (website, ,FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc)
Participate in the regular posting and monitoring of social media
Manage guest queries, comments and reviews and respond with grace and diplomacy
Maintain the most up-to-date information regarding hours of operation, special hours, performances
Post announcements and key information via social media and within Kidtropolis
Answer phone queries graciously and professionally to direct guests to the correct information
Being a party host/hostess to our planned events such as birthday parties, group bookings, Kids Night Out, and private events
Work effectively in all areas such as City, Cafe, Party Host, Guest Services
