What This Position Is All About:

The Administrator, Immigration will be the primary contact for all associate immigration-related duties, including the preparation of employment visa petitions, coordinating application and interviews with Associates, developing and maintaining employee visa database. Furthermore, the Administrator, Immigration will serve as the resident subject matter expert (SME) who will advise and offer guidance to internal stakeholders on immigration costs, timelines, and requirements for current and potential visa holders.

You Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year College or University
  • Administrative experience an asset
  • Foreign Language skills a plus
As The Immigration Administrator, You Will:
  • Research and analyze legal sources regarding immigration requirements, partnering with Outside Counsel
  • Serve as main point-of-contact for HRBPs, recruiters, and hiring managers on visa application status, work permit renewals or Lawful Permanent Resident applications
  • Obtain, review, and organize supporting documentation for petitions to submit to immigration partner
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage each associate’s immigration needs throughout the life cycle of their employment/assignment
  • Develop and Maintain Associate Immigration Database to keep abreast of all visa holders, applications and renewal deadlines
  • Assist in gathering benchmarking materials, industry norms, and specific Company needs to collaborate with HR on introducing a formal Immigration Policy
