Technical SEO Expert (New Business - Sales) At Huckabuy

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

Role Overview

You are an SEO expert who is transitioning into the world of new business to further your impact and knowledge in the industry. You are passionate about the technical side of SEO and you love spreading the word and products and services that drive real organic search growth. At Huckabuy- you will be right at home. As a Technical SEO Expert, you will play an important role in sourcing and qualifying leads/prospects that will result in new business. You'll collaborate closely with senior management and other like minded SEOs to help fill the new business pipeline, close deals and meet or exceed your goals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and properly qualify business opportunities and identify qualified leads
  • Drive the entire new business cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Consult new customers on proper Huckabuy SEO solutions for their organization
  • Become a perpetual student of Huckabuy products and the ever-changing SEO industry
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Utilize Salesforce to ensure activities are documented properly, opportunities are forecasted accurately and adequate information regarding the prospect and/or opportunity is communicated
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives & key stakeholders by providing consultative recommendations & best practices that will allow customers to achieve their SEO growth
  • Achieve or exceed quotas

Qualifications

  • A passion for everything SEO
  • 4+ years of SEO analyst experience
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills combined with effective business judgment
  • Ability to deal with autonomy and a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized, high attention to detail, and deadline-oriented
  • A well established social media presence in the SEO community (preferred)
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business in a SaaS startup (preferred)
  • Must reside in the United States.
