HUB Financial Inc., Canada’s largest Life Insurance Managing General Agency is looking for a self-motivated Sales Assistant to work out of our Woodbridge, Ontario office. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a high attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and loves working with people .
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Organize events in region, manage events calendar, manage CE credits;
Organizes seminar planning, posting and attendance;
Quotes new business to brokers;
Manage quoting software supplies and distribution;
Manage marketing supplies/material;
Provides illustration packaging/ Concepts library;
Provides carrier information and basic product outline;
Provides guidance on HUBLINK usage and navigation;
Provides support on general administrative office-type services and is able to refer brokers for more specialized assistance when required
Other duties as may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Entry level experience (1 to two years) in sales/marketing/ or administrative capacity
Preferred Post-secondary qualification (diploma or university degree)
LOMA or other industry related course are an asset
Willingness to commit to higher industry education (CFP, IFIC, CSI etc)
