As an Insurance Advisor, you will be serving clients in all of their auto insurance needs, primarily focused on the sale of ICBC, Private Auto and Colwood Insurance within one of our many Community Branch Networks. There are various locations throughout the Lower Mainland available for this full time position including Langley, Richmond, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and more.
Selling ICBC and private automobile coverage at dealerships, and in the branch office
Achieving sales and penetration goals including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto, Colwood and Travel
Supports the corporate growth plan by creating quality leads
Assisting in the office as needed by helping clients, answering telephones and completing other tasks as assigned
Ensure compliance with all insurer (ICBC, CNS, Family, etc.) Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations
Handle and resolve client & dealership concerns in a positive proactive fashion
Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds
Continuing professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
As a successful candidate you will possess the following characteristics:
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service
Strong communications skills both written and oral
Sales initiative and drive
Proven ability to work in a team as well as independently
Eligible for Level 1 General Insurance License is mandatory
Experience working in a client service focused environment
Must have use of own person vehicle to travel to dealership locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
