Are you an N.A.C.E. Level 1 or 2 Coating Inspector that has experience in the application and inspection of industrial abrasive blasting and coating on various size storage tanks, vessels, piping and structural steel?
Do you understand the requirements of SSPC-PA1, SSPC-PA2, coatings PDS and SDS?
Do you thrive in a customer service role and go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations?
If yes, we have an immediate opening for you. As a Contract Quality Control Coating Inspector, based out of our Lloydminster North facility, you will be responsible for in process inspections on our remote sites in Western Canada. You will be responsible for audit reviews of our in house digital documentation before client inspectors are scheduled, to ensure documents are complete and ready for review. While on our sites, you will adhere to Foremost and client safety policies and procedures.
As a Quality Control Coating Inspector you will:
- Maintain digital Quality Control documentation.
- Work with Foremost employees to ensure that tasks are being performed as specified in our approved ITP.
- Verify quality using digital DFT gauge, wet sponge and high voltage holiday testers and ensure application complies with approved ITP and construction drawings.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- NACE CIP Level 1 or 2 certification
- Safety Training an asset but will train as required
- Willing to travel to various work sites across Western Canada
