Regional Sales Manager At Daniels Health

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Responsibilities

We have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Leadership team in Canada. Ideally you will be based in or around the Ontario area given our Canadian Head Quarters is in Brampton with a sales team spanning from Mississauga to Winnipeg and anywhere in between.

As a successful Sales Leader you will spearhead new and existing relationships with Healthcare providers and GPO's to drive down needle stick injuries and improve their overall safety and environmental footprint. Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Achieve sales quotas for the region as set by the company, with your collaboration;
  • Formulate an effective customer call strategy to maximize opportunities in the region;
  • Utilizes pipeline management (SalesForce) to ensure sales plan is met;
  • Constantly review all sales activities, targets, and strategies in order to maximize results;
  • Ensure customer needs are effectively met and build productive customer relationships;
  • Ensure high performance standards for self and others
  • In conjunction with National Sales Manager, monitor sales flow, analyze results, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate market development and suggested product line changes or opportunities to National Sales Manager;
  • Complete all required weekly, quarterly and projection reporting on time as required;
  • Participate in the sales planning, sales strategies, territorial coverage, and budgeting processes;
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of the regional for Senior Leadership;
  • Develop tactics and strategies to develop long-term commitment with key customers;
  • Take on special projects as assigned by Management;
  • Comply with all national and local laws and company policies and procedures associated with marketing and business practices;
  • Manage all regional activity within budgetary guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field
  • 7-10 years Business Experience required and previous experience managing a team of inside and outside sales representatives
  • Must be able to discuss the features, advantages and clinical benefits of all our products and to compare their performance with competitive products
  • Previously experience within the hospital sales environment with specific experience reviewing and responding to RFPs and tenders, as well as experience dealing with Canadian GPOs, such as HealthPro and MedBuy
  • Strong interpersonal skills- relationship builder
