Permit Technicians process planning, building and fire permits, and respond to customer inquiries at the Development Services Center counter. The following are some of the position responsibilities; please review the Permit Technician classification description for more detail.
The Permit Technician requires:
Education and Experience:
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. May be required to stand at a counter for long periods of time when assisting customers. Lift and carry plans, boxes, and large books usually not exceeding 30 lbs.
