The City of Port Moody is seeking an outstanding Customer Service Representative to provide excellent frontline service to members of the public as the first point of contact with the City. This position will answer a variety of questions pertaining to city services while providing clerical support to Council and the Legislative Services department.
- Answer and direct inquiries received in person, by phone call, and by email
Act as a liaison between staff and public with maintenance department
Enter data into Tempest, Maintenance Connection, customer relationship management systems or other applications as needed
Post updates to the website as directed
Prepare and send correspondence
Receive and process applications for various licences and permits
Process payment transactions, handle cash, and perform daily reconciliation for bank deposits
Provide clerical and administrative support to Council and the Legislative Services Department, including election support
Schedule and book meeting rooms
This is a temporary, full-time opportunity, replacing the absence of a regular employee and estimated to be of 6 months duration.
