Assistant Electrical Engineer is the entry-level professional class in the electrical engineering class series. The incumbent participates in and performs routine electrical engineering research and technical analysis for capital improvement design and engineering construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have the professional training that will provide them the ability to perform routine to moderately difficult professional engineering work, while exercising engineering judgment within the parameters of department policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have the ability to carry out assigned electrical power system capital improvement designs, construction and maintenance projects and projects for new and upgraded electrical services for customers.
