Responsible for organizing, sorting and staging library books and other materials; operating the Automated
Materials Handling (AMH) equipment; and, assisting in the loading /unloading of materials delivery vehicles.
Work is performed within the context of the policies and framework of the Library corporate culture as
embodied in the Mission Statement, Core Values, Customer Experience Guidelines and the Canadian
Library Association position statements on Intellectual Freedom and Diversity and Inclusion, with particular
emphasis on providing customer service excellence.
Education & Experience
Completion of grade 9.
Less than six (6) months experience in organizing and staging materials in a warehouse environment.
Language, Certificates & Licenses
English oral, reading, writing required.
