Calgary Alternative Support Services is looking to add a Network Administrator to our team.
This rolewill report to the Director of Operations, and will be responsible for the full cycle IT offerings to the agency. This role will provide dynamic experiences that range from but not limited to: maintaining Local Area Networks, Servers, and connectivity with satellite offices; developing and designing agency websites; and the implementation of an IMS and ticketing solution to improve agency efficiencies.
A successful candidate will bring a positive, upbeat attitude and a curiosity to learn and engage with our business; takes pride in asking strategic questions and taking a proactive approach to craft solutions to improve our current processes and offerings; and be a positive facilitator of IT related conversations with an audience of varying degrees of technical knowledge.
All CASS staff are required to provide a Police Information including a Vulnerable Sector check. CASS will accept Police Information Check that includes a Vulnerable Sector Check if it has been completed within the last six (6) months.
Mandatory post-secondary education in Information Management Systems or another related program
Successful candidates will complete mandatory training within 3 months of hire: Emergency First Aid; Non-Violent Crisis Intervention; Health and Safety; Abuse Awareness; Introduction to Your Role; Challenging Behaviours (Part I&II). The majority of these course are offered either online or in-house.
Mandatory 1-3 years of experience as a Network Administrator or other related role
