Actuellement, nous sommes à la recherche d’un Technicien en avionique-Simulateur de vol d’avion à notre centre de Ville St-Laurent. Vos défis

  • Effectuer des mesures électriques et mécaniques sur des simulateurs et divers dispositifs d’entraînement au vol.
  • Programmer certaines composantes électroniques, effectuer des tests de fonctionnalité, calibrer divers éléments et exécuter des séances de dépannage au besoin pour les cellules d’assemblage ainsi que sur les aires d’essai avec des outils et instruments de diagnostic (multimètres, oscilloscopes, logiciels spéciaux, etc.).
  • Effectuer des tests sur les panneaux et instruments de bord embarqués dans les cockpit d’une grande variété d’avion ainsi que les systèmes d’éclairage, d’alimentation électrique, de sécurité et de détection de fumé.
  • Faire le suivi de la mise à jour de la documentation et du soutien pour le matériel électrique et mécanique.
  • Participer aux activités de soutien touchant la conception détaillée, la fabrication et celles se déroulant sur les aires d'essai. Le tout, en collaborant avec les ingénieurs et les autres techniciens du matériel.
  • Travailler sur différents quarts de travail ainsi que participer à l’installation des dispositifs de formation, des mises à niveau et à la qualification des simulateurs de vol chez nos clients localisés à l’échelle mondiale.

Vos forces

  • DEC en avionique, télécommunication, électromécanique, mécatronique ou toutes autres formations connexes ainsi que de l’expérience pertinente.
  • Solide expérience relative aux systèmes de distribution électrique et/ou aux systèmes avioniques.
  • Expérience et forte compréhension liés à la distribution, à l'interconnexion des signaux électriques ainsi qu’aux signaux analogues et digitaux.
  • Compréhension de l'architecture des ordinateurs et des simulateurs, notamment des relations entre les éléments des systèmes.
  • Excellente capacité d’analyse en recherche de causes racines lors des séances de dépannage.
  • Connaissance de l'emploi des appareillages électroniques de mesure et de contrôle.
  • Bilinguisme est essentiel.
  • Expérience et compréhension liée aux interfaces de panneaux simulés et de tableaux de bord, un atout.
  • Bonne connaissance des protocoles de communication tels que ARINC, RS232, et des principes de communication réseau tel que TCP/IP, un atout.
  • Connaissance des systèmes asservis, hydrauliques, pneumatique, vidéos et audio, un atout.
  • Compréhension des logiciels et capacité à les manipuler et à les dépanner, des atouts très appréciés.
  • Autonomie, rigueur, sens des responsabilités et de la débrouillardise.
  • Fait preuve d’organisation, gère bien les priorités et détient un grand sens de minutie.
  • Capacité de travailler dans un environnement de haut volume de travail.
  • Grand souci du client et excellentes aptitudes au service à la clientèle.
  • Grandes aptitudes à la communication et de vulgarisation de sujets techniques.
  • Esprit d’équipe, dynamisme et de collaboration.
  • Disponible à travailler sur des quarts de travail, lorsque c’est demandé à l’occasion.
  • Avoir un passeport valide et être disponible à effectuer des voyages chez nos clients à l’échelle internationales.
  • Être en mesure de voyager pour 40% de l’année et parfois pour des voyages se pouvant s’échelonné sur plus de 2 mois.

We are currently looking for an Avionic Technician-Aircraft Simulator at our Ville St-Laurent centre.

Your challenges

  • Perform electrical and mechanical measurements of simulators and various flight training devices.
  • Program certain electronic components, perform functionality tests, calibrate various elements and perform troubleshooting sessions as required for assembly cells and at test areas with diagnostic tools and instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, special software, etc.).
  • Test the panels and instruments in the cockpits of a wide variety of aircraft, as well as the lighting, power supply, security and smoke detection systems.
  • Monitor the updating of documentation and support for electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Participate in support activities relating to detailed design work and manufacturing and support activities on test sites. All while collaborating with engineers and other equipment technicians.
  • Work different shifts and participate in the installation of training devices, upgrades and qualification of full flight simulators for our customers worldwide.

Your strengths

  • College diploma in avionics, telecommunications, electromechanics, mechatronics or any other related training, as well as relevant experience.
  • Solid background in electrical distribution systems and/or avionics systems
  • Experience and detailed understanding of electrical signal distribution and interconnection and of analog and digital signals.
  • Understanding of computer and simulator architecture, especially the relationships between system elements.
  • Excellent analytical abilities in troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of the use of electronic measurement and testing devices.
  • Bilingualism is essential.
  • Experience and understanding of simulated panel and instrument interfaces an asset.
  • Good knowledge of communication protocols such as ARINC and RS232 and network communication principles such as TCP/IP an asset.
  • Knowledge of servo, hydraulic, pneumatic, video and audio systems an asset.
  • An understanding of software and ability to handle and debug it would be highly advantageous.
  • Autonomy, rigour, sense of responsibility and resourcefulness.
  • Demonstrates organization, manages priorities well and has a great sense of thoroughness.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume work environment.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical subjects to non-experts.
  • Team spirit, dynamism and collaboration.
  • Available to occasionally work shifts when requested.
  • Have a valid passport and be available to make trips to our international clients.
  • Be able to travel for 40% of the year and sometimes for trips that can last up to two months.
