Spécialiste en développement de logicielle et assurance qualité / Software Development and Quality Assurance Specialist

Role and Responsibilities

À titre de Spécialiste en développement de logiciel et assurance qualité, votre rôle sera de travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes d’ingénieries, afin d’améliorer les activités de qualité du cycle de développement logiciel sur les simulateurs d’avion (dev/intégration/livraison). De bonnes connaissances des technologies de développement, de gestion de données et d’interface graphique sont nécessaires dans ce poste.


Défis

  • Développer des outils logiciels ou des rapports permettant d’analyser des indicateurs de rendement, d’identifier les causes d’une problématique et proposer des possibilités d’amélioration.
  • Analyser les non-conformités logicielles, déterminer les axes d’amélioration souhaitables et les communiquer aux responsables des processus en cause (intelligence d’affaire).
  • Auditer les actifs logiciels, les équipes de développement à l’aide des modèles de qualité et d’excellence.
  • Possibilité de participer et éventuellement diriger des projets d'amélioration continue afin de réduire les coûts de non-qualité liés aux logiciels.

Compétences

  • Diplôme universitaire en génie logiciel ou en informatique.
  • Au minimum 2 ans d'expérience en développement logiciel.
  • Connaissance des technologies de développement : C++, C#, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net
  • Connaissance des technologies de gestion de données : SQL
  • Au minimum d’un an d'expérience dans un environnement lié à la qualité logicielle.
  • Connaissance des différentes stratégies de tests, leurs applicabilités et leur implémentation.
  • Test boite noire, test boite blanche, test d’interface, etc.
  • Capacité à collaborer avec des membres d’équipes multidisciplinaires.
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais).
  • Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, y compris à faire des présentations à différents niveaux dans l'entreprise.
  • Disponible pour des déplacements au Canada ou à l’étranger (5 %).

Atouts

  • Esprit de synthèse et art de présenter de l’information.
  • Connaissances d’outils d’analyse statique (ex. Parasoft).
  • Connaissances du standard ISO 25 000 ou d’un modèle de qualité logiciel.
  • Connaissances des processus agiles.
  • Connaissance d’outil de rapport (ex. Power BI).
  • Connaissance des systèmes de gestion de la qualité et d’amélioration continue : ISO 12207, ISO9001, AS9100, CMMI.
  • Certification ASQ, Lean et Six Sigma.

As a Software Developer and Quality Assurance Specialist, your role will be to work in close collaboration with the engineering teams to improve the quality activities of the software development cycle on aircraft simulators (development/integration/delivery). Good knowledge of development, data management, and graphical interface technologies are required for this position.


Challenges

  • Develop software tools or reports to analyze performance indicators, identify the causes of the problem, and suggest opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze the software non-conformities, determine the desired areas of improvement, and communicate them to those responsible for the processes involved (business intelligence).
  • Audit software assets and the development teams using quality and excellence models.
  • Opportunity to participate and eventually lead continuous improvement projects to reduce non-quality software costs.

Skills

  • University degree in Software or Computer Engineering.
  • At least two years of software development experience.
  • Knowledge of development technologies: C++, C#, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET
  • Knowledge of data management technologies: SQL
  • At least one year of experience in an environment related to software quality.
  • Knowledge of the different test strategies, their applicability, and their implementation
  • Black-box testing, white-box testing, interface testing, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Excellent ability to communicate both orally and in writing, including being able to make presentations to different levels in the company.
  • Available for travel within Canada or abroad (5%).

Assets

  • Ability to summarize and to present information effectively.
  • Knowledge of static analysis tools (e.g., Parasoft).
  • Knowledge of the standard ISO 25000 or a quality model for software.
  • Knowledge of the agile process.
  • Knowledge of report tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Knowledge of quality management and continuous improvement systems: ISO 12207, ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI.
