Spécialiste de test / Test Specialist

Role and Responsibilities

(English will follow)

  • Préparer des plans d’essais d’ingénierie pour les projets.
  • Effectuer des essais d’ingénierie nécessitant une connaissance générale des techniques de simulation pour les simulateurs de vol.
  • Optimiser l’utilisation d’outils informatiques pour les essais d’ingénierie.
  • Communiquer les résultats des essais et émettre des recommandations à l’équipe du projet afin de lui permettre d’en évaluer les risques.
  • Utiliser la documentation technique de l’aéronef afin d’assurer un soutien d’ingénierie aux développeurs de logiciels, aux pilotes d’essais et aux clients.
  • Empêcher la migration des anomalies techniques jusqu’à la phase d’acceptation par le client en les identifiant et participant activement à leur règlement le plus tôt possible lors de l’exécution du projet.
  • Participer à la qualification du simulateur.
  • Représenter CAE pour toute question relative à la qualification des simulateurs.
  • Communiquer avec les autorités de certification pour clarifier la réglementation.
  • Effectuer des analyses et formuler des recommandations afin d’améliorer le processus de développement de logiciels et de fabrication de produits.
  • Disposition à se déplacer chez les clients.

Exigences :

  • Diplôme collégial ou universitaire dans un domaine de génie ou de technologie
  • Au moins trois ans d’expérience pertinente (connaissance des systèmes avions, licence de pilote, etc).
  • Connaissance des procédés internes (fabrication, logiciel, etc.), un atout.
  • Connaissance de l'avion Airbus A320 un atout.

  • Prepare project engineering test plans.
  • Carry out engineering testing assignments requiring general familiarity with flight simulator simulation techniques.
  • Make maximum use of computer tools to perform engineering testing.
  • Report test results and provide recommendations to project team to assess project risks.
  • Use aircraft technical documentation to provide engineering support to software developers, test pilots and customers.
  • Prevent snag migration prior to customer acceptance by identifying and actively participating in the resolution of defects as early as possible during the project execution.
  • Participate in simulator qualification.
  • Represent CAE for simulator qualification issues.
  • Communicate with the qualification authorities to clarify regulation.
  • Undertake independent analysis and provide recommendation to improve the software and hardware development processes.
  • Availability to travel to various locations for on-site work.

Requirements:

  • College or University degree in technology or engineering field
  • At least three years of relevant experience (knowledge of aircraft systems, pilot licence, etc).
  • Knowledge of internal procedures (manufacturing, software, etc.), an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Airbus A320 an asset
