Rôle et responsabilités:


L’équipe d’ingénierie responsable des systèmes de performance est à la recherche d’un informaticien fort en programmation et en analyse afin de supporter les outils utilisés pour assurer la conformité de nos simulateurs. Le titulaire du poste aura notamment les tâches suivantes:

  • Supporter l’équipe d’ingénierie performance qui est constitué de Aéro, Autopilote, Commandes de vol et Moteur pour la conversion de données provenant de manufacturiers d’avions.
  • Produire des versions de logiciel pleinement fonctionnelle.
  • Maintenir le backlog des déficiences des outils logiciels et présenter des échéanciers de résolution.
  • Effectuer des changements logiciels pour corriger et améliorer les outils.
  • Selon les besoins des utilisateurs, proposer des solutions logiciels et développer de Nouveaux outils;

Exigences:

  • Diplôme collégial ou universitaire en informatique;
  • Bonnes connaissances de Java, Perl, C, C++ et C#; Python est un plus.
  • Excellente capacité d’analyse;
  • Connaissance de base des réseaux informatiques;
  • Bon sens des responsabilités, autonomie et ingéniosité;
  • Bon sens de l'organisation et de la planification;
  • Capacité à bien travailler en équipe;
  • Bonne connaissance de la suite MS Office et des outils associés;
  • Bonnes compétences en communication (à l'oral et à l'écrit);
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais) requis.

Role and responsibilities:


The engineering team responsible of the performance systems is looking for a strong programmer, Technician or Programmer Analyst to support the toolset used to ensure our simulators conformity. The position holder tasks expected, but not limited to, are as follows:

  • Support the engineering vehicle-performance team : Flight, Autopilot, Flight Control and Engine, for the manufacturer data conversion onto CAE’s format(s).
  • Release fully functional SW releases.
  • Owner of the performance tools: implement fixes and new development to improve the tools and fulfil all needs.
  • Maintain the backlog of work (snags and new development) and provide a resolution plan with estimated completion dates.
  • Propose and develop solutions to fulfill the performance users needs.

Requirements:

  • Technical College degree or Bachelor in computer science;
  • Good knowledge of software languages Java, Perl, C, C++ and C#; Python is a plus.
  • Excellent ability to analyze the root causes while troubleshooting issues;
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking;
  • Good sense of responsibility, autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Good sense of organisation and planning;
  • Able to work well in a team ;
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office tools and suite;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
