Intégration, tests, installation et livraison de simulateurs / Integration, Tests, Installation and Delivery of Simulators

Role and Responsibilities

Selon le niveau maîtrisé des compétences requises et l’intérêt démontré, le profil du travail inclus :

  • Pour l’intégration des systèmes : Assurer le rôle de premier point de contact pour toute question technique sur le site. Assurer le soutien technique des ingénieurs logiciels dans l’intégration de leurs systèmes. Déceler les sources de problèmes dans les logiciels et participer activement à les régler en tenant au courant les ingénieurs et techniciens concernés. Veiller au bon fonctionnement du simulateur. Apporter au client l’aide dont il peut avoir besoin lors de la phase de réception. Transmettre des rapports d’évolution (identifiant l’état, les risques, etc.) du projet aux niveaux hiérarchiques supérieurs.
  • Pour le déploiement des systèmes d’avion et de performance : Analyser les exigences des projets et définir la configuration des simulateurs. Effectuer l’intégration matériel-logiciel sur différents systèmes. Démontrer, par les tests adéquats, la concordance entre les fonctionnalités du simulateur et l’avion. Être responsable de la mise au point des systèmes avant les essais de réception. Assurer un support technique pendant les essais de réception et la qualification des simulateurs. Repérer et éliminer les problèmes informatiques (matériel et logiciel) en liaison avec les ingénieurs et techniciens concernés.
  • Pour la vérification et la validation des simulateurs : Préparer des plans d’essais d’ingénierie pour les projets. Effectuer des essais d’ingénierie nécessitant une connaissance générale des techniques de simulation pour les simulateurs de vol. Communiquer les résultats des essais et émettre des recommandations à l’équipe du projet afin de lui permettre d’en évaluer les risques. Utiliser la documentation technique de l’aéronef afin d’assurer un soutien d’ingénierie aux ingénieurs logiciels et aux clients. Participer activement à la qualification du simulateur.

Qualifications


  • Baccalauréat en génie ou en informatique.
  • Disponibilité à voyager.
  • Au moins une des exigences techniques suivantes :
  • Langages de programmation (C, C++, scripts Perl) et outils de développement Microsoft pour la plate-forme Windows (Visual Studio 6.0 et plus).
  • Systèmes simulés incluant interface avec les instruments et l’avionique de bord
  • Connaissance des systèmes avions
  • Licence de pilote
  • Expérience en intégration logicielle/matérielle
  • Expérience sur différents systèmes de simulateurs
  • Expérience en systèmes de performance (Aérodynamique, Commande de vol, Systèmes de Mouvement, Son, Moteur)
  • Expérience avec les technologies logicielles et outils en utilisation chez CAE
  • Approche axée sur les résultats.
  • Initiative, dynamisme et esprit d’équipe.
  • Forte appartenance et flexibilité pour les assignations
  • Solides compétences en planification et en organisation.
  • Adaptation rapide aux changements technologiques (logiciels ou autres).
  • Habileté à travailler et prendre des décisions de façon autonome.

According to the level of the required skills and the interest shown, the position profile includes:

  • For systems integration: Be the first point of contact for any technical questions on site. Provide technical support for software engineers during the integration of their systems. Identify root cause problems in the software and actively participate in resolving them while keeping the engineers and technicians involved informed. Ensure that the simulation runs smoothly. Provide the client with any help needed during the receiving phase. Submit project progress reports (indicating status, risks, etc.) to upper management.
  • For the deployment of aircraft and performance systems: Analyze project requirements and define simulator configurations. Carry out hardware–software integration for various systems. Show, through suitable testing, that the functions of the simulation and the aircraft are consistent with each other. Take responsibility for updating systems before reception tests. Provide technical support during reception tests and simulator qualification. Address and eliminate technical issues (hardware and software) in cooperation with the engineers and technicians involved.
  • For simulator verification and validation: Prepare engineering testing plans for each project. Conduct engineering tests that require general knowledge of the simulation techniques for flight simulators. Submit the test results and make recommendations to the project team to allow them to evaluate the risks. Use the aircraft's technical documentation to provide engineering support to software engineers and customers. Participate actively in simulator qualification.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Available to travel.
  • At least one of the following technical requirements:
  • Programming languages (C, C++, Perl scripts) and Microsoft development tools for the Windows platform (Visual Studio 6.0 and beyond)
  • Simulated systems, including interfaces with aircraft instruments and avionics
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems
  • Pilot's license
  • Experience in hardware/software integration
  • Experience with various simulation systems
  • Experience with performance systems (Aerodynamics, Flight Control, Motion Systems, Sound, Engine)
  • Experience with software and tools in use at CAE
  • Results-oriented
  • Dynamic team player with sense of initiative
  • Flexibility and strong sense of ownership when it comes to assignments
  • Solid planning and organization skills
  • Rapid adaptation to technological change (software or otherwise)
  • Ability to work and make decisions autonomously
  • Ability to diagnose problems
  • Excellent communication skills
