Executive Assistant to CEO At Bull Bitcoin

Location: Montréal, Quebec

Job Description

Bull Bitcoin is quite simply Canada's Bitcoin Company, comprised of some of the most experienced and well connected individuals in the space. We are Bitcoin maximalist cypherpunks with skin in the game. As Executive Assistant to the CEO, your primary responsibility is to conserve the CEO's time. This includes responsibilities such as professionally & quickly completing various & diverse administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, coordinating travel arrangements, taking meeting notes & holding team members accountable to completing tasks assigned by the CEO.

You will be working with some of the top minds in a rapidly emerging global industry. As such, you must thrive in the midst of a rapid paced, multi-tasking work environment with important timelines both arising & continuously changing on a daily basis. You easily read the CEO's body language & temperament in order to anticipate the CEO's needs in all aspects of the business & address them proactively using your own creative problem-solving skills. Your strong background and experience is working within fast-paced, small & medium sized business with strong personalities is an asset, and so is your impeccable attention to detail. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO with business & personal related tasks, activities, meetings, conferences, travel details and events
  • Manage the CEO's calendar including; setting of appointments, preparation for meetings, ensuring on-time arrival, re-booking & scheduling
  • Communicate on behalf of the CEO with respect to calendar, meeting and schedule related activities
  • Take effective meeting notes, assign accountability items to appropriate team members & hold team members accountable to their tasks as a self-sufficient project manager would
  • Carry out all administrative tasks related to CEO's duties & company needs
  • Assist with the companies administrative & bookkeeping related requirements including payroll, data entry, payment processing & customer support
  • Encourage strong positive team spirit & culture at all times by being a positive source of team spirit yourself first. Lead by example
  • Complete projects & special assignments for the CEO by determining priorities, managing time, gaining respect & cooperation from others, monitoring progress, problem-solving and making adjustments to plans on-going as needed for successful outcomes
  • Identify & communicate improvements to company processes by studying, evaluating, re-designing processes & implementing changes on your own initiative

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience with rapidly growing, fast-paced small business environments
  • University level business degree or related business studies
  • Executive level skill & fluency with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Google Suites & Calendar management
  • Comfortable working with social media platforms such as Twitter, You Tube, Reddit, Medium and LinkedIn
  • Fully fluent with both French & English

Work Location & Residency

  • This position requires for you to be physically present for all working hours in Montreal at our Montreal office
  • Occasionally you will be required to travel with the CEO to various conferences across the Globe, mainly in North America and Europe
  • You must also have full work authorization to work in the Country of Canada and be a full time Canadian residence

Additional Skills & Qualifications which are not required, but would be an asset:

  • 1+ years experience as a financial controller or bookkeeper
  • 1+ years managing, planning or participating in event production
  • 1+ years as a software programmer or working with software programmers
