We help builders get ahead and stay ahead with estimating and job management software to manage the job end-to-end, from first contact and quote to the final invoice, and we want you to be part of our Canadian origin story.

You are a natural leader, whether it's coaching hockey, leading a crew, or managing a team, you've always gravitated towards leadership roles.
You're a strategic thinker with a growth mindset but you also love to roll up your sleeves up and execute. You are a self-starter, disciplined, and always see projects you start through to the end. You can multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without getting distracted by shiny objects.
You are an influencer and are able to not only find opportunities but seize them. You're not just motivated by short term wins, but rather are able to think systematically through deals, market development, partner development and enablement, and market segments (who isn't our target market as much as who is). You have a strong presence - you can speak to C-Suite, to Mom & Pop's, and own the presentation stage too.
About the Role:
As the Director, Business Development you will report to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and you will work collaboratively with the CEO, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. This role will have a national focus with enormous opportunity for growth with initial market development success.
You will get to drive the sales go-to-market function, scale and grow the Partner community, conduct promotional activities for demand generation - you will have full accountability of the revenue results and will be the guardian of the Buildxact brand in Canada.
