Reporting to the Director of Direct Marketing, and working as part of our Direct Mail team, the Manager of Direct Mail will be accountable for the acquisition, stewardship and retention of leadership-level annual donors through the strategic development and day-to-day coordination of the Arthritis Society's new nationwide Leadership Giving Direct Mail Program.

Required Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in business, communications or a related field, with a minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in a direct marketing fundraising environment, preferably with expertise in leadership giving Direct Mail programs. A proven track record in strategic thinking and planning is a must. He/she will possess the ability to develop and execute long-term plans based on a strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of industry trends, while prioritizing objectives in order to leverage short-term opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter with strong direct marketing experience who is passionately driven to exceed targets and go that extra mile. He/she will be able to juggle multiple priorities with flair and navigate details with ease while staying on strategy. Superior interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), including excellent presentation skills, are a key requirement for this role. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, with Raisers' Edge experience preferred. French language skills are an asset.
